Allies and Morrison windows have been shining brightly at Southwark Street Studios this month in its re-interpretation of the traditional advent calendar. The Advent Calander installation, comprising of 25 oblong pieces, transforms each day revealing a new festive surprise.

Designed by architects Lauren Howard and Paul Motley, each window represents one day in December and rotates on a spindle to reveal colourful and patterned treat.

Each installation is illuminated with the use of the DELTALIGHT Maxispy On fitting. As you'd expect with a traditional advent calendar, the final day of the installation will be on Christmas Day when Southwark Street will shine in a full ocean of colour.

Allies and Morrison hope the beautiful display provides a sense of warmth and holiday cheer to the bustling streets of London while also providing them with Christmas ambience indoors as well.
