Approximately 6,000 energy-efficient light bulbs have been installed in the Co-Op City’s eight parking garages.
The products have been installed at no out-of-pocket-cost to the facility, which resulted in more than a 50% reduction in electrical cost used for maintaining the garages.
Co-Op City in the Bronx, New York is said to be one of the world’s largest cooperative living facilities with more than 15,000 residential units.
