The Dubai Metro project is a driverless, fully automated metro network project which is being undertaken by the JT Metro JV (Japan Turkey Metro Joint Venture).
The Hyperion R-lite has been selected because of its ease in installation, high performance, energy efficiency and 50,000 hour design life. It is a patented, monochromatic LED strip lighting system, featuring removable/replaceable LED modules.
Nexxus Lighting’s distributor for the Middle East, Gargash Lighting Systems has supplied the products for the project. The first line is scheduled to begin full operations in September 2009.
Nexxus Lighting deals with advanced lighting technology, including solid-state LED and fiber optic lighting systems and controls used in commercial, architectural, signage, swimming pool, entertainment and retail lighting.
