Ceramics and glass – two materials most of us handle every single day of our lives – have been transformed into something much more unusual for a new exhibition at the Roca London Gallery.
The Three Graces by Enrique Perezalba Red
Created by recent graduates of the Royal College of Art Ceramics and Glass MA course, the exhibition, called And Then This ‘explores the reinterpretation of these two materials in innovative and beautiful ways, showcasing work that stretches the expectationof these ancient yet contemporary materials,’ according to the gallery.

The diverse body of work produced by the 18 students ranges from functional design to fine art sculpture and video, but each piece is is influenced by the strengths and limitations offered by the basic properties of the materials.
Hood/Mask by Jonathan Wade
The Roca London Gallery is a showroom-cum-gallery space for bathroom company Roca. Desgined by Zaha Hadid, the space regularly hosts exhibitions.
