In each hotel guest room, six Anolis ArcSource 12/K2 SmartWhites have been installed into a false ceiling panel. Meanwhile, the combination of ArcLink 3 CoolWhite, Amber and WarmWhites mounted in the wall uplighters, allow guests a range of lighting intensities, from bedroom to boardroom, at the touch of a button.
The Dynalite controllers also control, sound, electric curtains, and video screens, with ArcSource 3/K2 WarmWhite fixed by the beds to illuminate the bedside drawer units. More Anolis ArcSource 3/K2 WarmWhites have been inserted into a small opening in the ceiling above the left hand side of the bed for use as reading lights.
The rooms also change color, thanks to 18 ArcLink RGBW strips around the edges of the false ceilings. The three color schemes adopted by the hotel are white, pale orange and pale green. In ‘conference’ mode, the shower is changed into a colored door, giving the feel of a toilet-only space for a more business-like, less bedroom-like environment. This is done using two opaque frosted glass tiles backlit with more RGBW strips.
Two conference rooms on the hotel’s second floor are also fitted with variable intensity and warmth SmartWhites, allowing the rooms to double as conference rooms and as a dining area. Aniolis has also provided lighting makeovers to the hotel’s six multi-functional rooms, three conference rooms, restaurant, and separate espresso bar.
