Hand woven textures and metallic filaments are blended well in the new collection designed by Phillip Jeffries. Metallic filaments are woven horizontally throughout the hemp, offering glittering characteristics randomly. Overall luminosity is also achieved by laminating the filaments onto a metallic backing paper.
The Glam Grass collection is available in about 20 colors, combining metallic sophistication with a natural element. Architectural Textiles’s Tony McNamara commented that the new collection of wall coverings can offer the look of real silk on the walls.
The Glam Grass collection will be showcased at Decorex International in September 2009. Decorex is a design fair exhibiting new designs in a unique setting for professional interior designers, retailers, architects, and hotel designers to source.
