Anticipated to be an important business hub for the city, the 150-room hotel will feature business and conference centre, along with high-end leisure amenities including a luxury health club and pool.
In collaboration with Lagos-based developer Hometel, Areen will create a design that will support the business and leisure accommodation needs of Nigeria. Talks are currently underway with a major international operator.
Representing Areen’s second venture into the West African sector alongside their current work on the Hilton Freetown Cape Sierra in Sierra Leone, the project is expected to open its doors to the public in mid-2014.
