The Elation range consists of at least four products in its ELAR Quad Series. The new products include ELAR Quad Panel, a 16 x 10W LED panel; the ELAR Quad Bar, a 0.5m 4 x 10W RGBW LED bar; the larger ELAR Quad Strip, a 1m long 8 x 10W RGBW LED strip; and ELAR Quad Par, a 9 x 10W LED Par-style module with 25° beam angle.
All the four new models offer pixel control that claim to render superior LED matrix effects. The fixtures can be used in stand-alone mode for a variety of applications, and also as a cumulative piece for a creative scenic design element.
The incorporation of ArKaos Kling-Net into the new Elation LED fixtures has helped the ELAR Quad fixtures transform into intelligent Kling-Net devices, which can interact with, and can be controlled by, a media server.
ArKaos Kling-Net is touted as a unique protocol by the company that has been designed to distribute real-time video data to remote display devices, such as LEDs or LED panels, over Ethernet. The protocols are user friendly. The ArKaos Kling-Net can support a variety of LED products manufacturers and can be embedded in any manufacturer’s product under license from ArKaos.
The LDI 2012 took place between 19-21 October 2012 at Las Vegas Convention Center. ArKaos displayed its products at Booth #1101.
