The third annual TOGS 3 competition is launched to enhance the global dialogue between art and architecture. This competition solicits new ideas and innovative proposals for a temporary outdoor structure that will function simultaneously as an exhibition space and as an architectural exhibition.

The competition is designed to challenge the visual and conceptual boundaries of the outdoor gallery space, transforming the open-air art fair experience into one that showcases the synergy between art and architecture and brings both to the public realm.

The competition is open to national and international professionals and students in the fields of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and urban design. The winner will be given the opportunity to collaborate with a professional team to realize a working proposal. A grand prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the winning design, with second and third place earning $500 and $250, respectively. All three winners will be announced at an outdoor art fair April 24-25, 2010.

Registration for the TOGS 3 competition runs from today through March 26, 2010, with a submission deadline of April 5, 2010.
