The unit has been shifted to a new area spanning 17,000 square feet to incorporate eco-friendly elements. The new facility has made extensive use of renewable sources which resulted in reduction of electricity usage by 50%. Installation of low-flow plumbing systems have reaped water cost cuts of 32%. The building has also been equipped with efficient lighting fixtures which cut down energy consumption by 18%.
The facility has utilised 30% of reclaimed construction materials and furniture pieces. Use of low VOC materials adds to the sustainability by upgrading the indoor air quality. In addition, the office has diverted 77% of construction and demolition waste from reaching landfills or incinerators via recycling.
