The design of the luminaire has been conceived by Marco Bisenzi. The light dons a spherical form. It is composed of two layers of Murano glass and is powered by 42 energy-efficient LEDs. The LEDs installed in the sphere illuminate it by generating little textured and decorative light spots. The look of the light spots draw reference to the internal pistils of a flower.
The LEDs can be installed with ease inside the lamp shade owing to the creation of a new internal structure. The structure bears resemblance to an umbrella and enables all the LEDs to be inserted during the time of installation of the light.
