Transforming the city’s skyline and promoting its historic identity, the new Baku Flame Towers has taken inspiration from Baku’s history of fire worship. The scheme features three flame-shaped towers, each with a different function, set in a triangular shape.
The western side of the complex features more than 355,000 square feet of flexible, Class A commercial office space. The other two towers contain residential and hotel space.
Complementing the prominent hillside site near the Caspian Sea, the scheme has been designed with a hierarchy of buildings from the tall towers down to several smaller structures forming the retail and leisure pavilions.
These buildings connect the towers at the base while mediating between the scale of the towers and their surroundings.
Baku Flame Towers is a project by Azinko Development MMC with DIA Holdings serving as design-build contractor and Hill International providing project management.
