Designed by US-based Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the project will deliver a new 233-bed student housing facility, which will be built on the College’s South Campus in Lake Forest. The project involves demolition of the College’s existing Moore Hall student housing facility and replacing it with a modern facility.
The new building will have a total area of 62,000 square feet and will feature updated living arrangements, including large social spaces and other enhanced residential elements. The design of the new student residential scheme will be in sync with the rest of South Campus and the surrounding community.
Construction work on the site will be undertaken by US-based Walsh Construction. The new student housing facility is scheduled for delivery in August 2013.
