To be located adjacent to the site of the out-dated existing buildings, the new accommodation will create 24 bedrooms, a teaching block, a canteen, leisure facilities, and administrative space. The project also includes extensive enabling works like access road improvements, demolition, and creation of a car park.
In conformity with government guidelines, the accommodation will be a single-storey building with top priority accorded to security and surveillance measures.
Work on the pre-cast concrete frame will begin in August 2013, with completion scheduled for January 2015.
