The design project was dubbed ‘The MotorCIRCLE in the City,’ and was developed by the students Vicky Ballesteros, Patricia Bernardino, Núria Martínez, and Vanya Suleva. It is a novel concept which is capable of generating experiences and feelings that go beyond the point of sale.

The proposal is an interactive exhibition that radically changes the way in which the display of the 16 legendary high-level motorcycles from the 70s is seen. This unique collection by Jordi Blanco Mesalles boasts exclusive road, trial, and cross models from brands such as Ossa, Bultaco and Montesa and pays homage to the Catalan enterprising people that established more than 150 motorcycle factories in Catalonia.

The MotorCIRCLE in the City is based on optical illusion tricks through which the image distorts when the observer abandons a specific point. The visitors interact with the exhibition space in a game of perspectives that are designed to awaken their curiosity and involve them into the project.

The project utilised technical and architectonic lighting from ERCO, which help the visitors to enjoy a good visibility and an attractive displaying of the exhibited objects.
