The entire product line is made of aluminium, which stands out for its lightness and robustness. Veneers provide contrasts while glass elements, whether clear or smoked, can accommodate personal preferences. Leather adds a touch of class.
The desks of the AL_Group follow a basic concept: trimmed down and distinctive, offering intelligent functionality. With aluminium as the primary material and an intelligent frame design, which is described by Stania as a “Space Frame,” desk lengths can extend up to eight metres. Its 45-degree twist and elliptical cross section makes the desk legs appear slim. Cabling is done invisibly through the desk leg and under the working surface.
AL_Desks feature a laterally movable leather writing surface with a compartment specifically for a Notebook. The movable table top is a key highlight. The compartment beneath holds required utensils, a connection plug board and a docking station, keeping the work surface clear and ensuring transparency and clarity. A key or electronic signal enables access to the personal storage space.
AL_Storage is elegantly designed frame storage furniture. From the front, the aluminium frame is visible only as narrow edging. Its structure is revealed when seen from above or from the side, which allows for a formal and aesthetic solution. Shifting the base to the rear allows the storage furniture to seemingly float in the room. The flush sides of the sideboards complete the overall image. The wall shelves also resemble a picture frame in the background. The boards can take heavy loads, even without lateral supports. Opened at the touch of a fingertip the drawer is controlled by a servo drive, with optically transparent fronts of up to 240 cm.
Innovative LED technology creates functional and playful points of light in the shelving. The AL_Group includes mobile, free-standing and wall-oriented storage furniture. Sideboards can also be used as individual pieces of furniture with intelligent technology integration.
The AL_Conferencing systems can be upgraded with technical equipment from Bene MediaRoom to AL_Conferencing. Discreetly hidden technology and infrastructure, integrated intelligently in the furniture avoids the untidy tangling of cables that can distract from presentations or meetings. The Bene MediaRoom concept brings together space, furniture, technology and design.
Plug boxes provide access to cables while flat screens emerge from the backboard. A remote control ensures the effective use of the electric lift. The ultra-wide-angle projector is completely integrated in an AL_Backboard underneath a glass cover plate.
As an alternative the backboards can be equipped with a projection screen. With an ultra-wide-angle the projector can create a projection from a short distance and an image size of 160 x 120cm. The projector is integrated into an AL_Backboard located underneath a glass cover plate.
Bene offers a modular control system with the MediaRoom that can be adapted to every requirement, for use in the conference area as well as the executive offices.
