Bringing 6,000 student athletes throughout Florida and their families for a state volleyball tournament, the Big House is a $6-plus million, 162,000 square feet facility with state-of-the-art amenities.

Initially envisioned by the Lemons 14 years ago, the Big House features 16 volleyball courts, nine basketball courts, a 1/4 mile indoor running track, 14 outdoor beach volleyball courts, 12 batting cages, a major league infield, and training and weightlifting areas.

Constructed with an array of modern amenities, the Big House sports complex features a 100-seat theatre, a teaching kitchen, health and wellness centre, game room, pro shop, daycare, classrooms, offices and meeting rooms.

According to plans, the sports complex will be used to host national tournaments and events during the summer season. In addition to a rigorous amateur athletic focus, the sports complex will be where professional athletes can work on their skills during the off-season.
