The new store is owned by Prestons of Bolton and has been designed by Rolex Geneva. It is only the third standalone Rolex outlet in the UK and rivals the two existing stores in London’s Bond Street and Knightsbridge.
The design brief for the new Rolex store required creation of a psce which will reflect the timeless and quality ethos of the Rolex brand. Bisca created a semi-helical staircase constructed entirely of glass which has the illusion of floating. A low iron laminated glass balustrade follows the outer curve of the stair and is capped with a beautiful and tactile bronzed handrail.
The opulent interior of the store aims to create a luxurious shopping experience for customers. It features double height ceilings, a library and a champagne bar, in addition to the floating glass staircase.
