Wernick Hire Ltd has negotiated a contract to supply twenty-nine 32 x 10 blast resistant accommodation units for a £200m construction project at BPs Saltend Plant near Hull. Vivergo Fuels, a consortium that includes BP, British Sugars and DuPont, is constructing a biofuel plant at the site. The new plant will convert a variety of feedstocks, including wheat and sugar beet into ethanol.
The blast resistant units, which will include an 8-bay blast modular building, will be equipped internally as offices, mess units, locker rooms, toilet and shower blocks. All the accommodation supplied by Wernick is constructed to conform to a 150mb blast rating.
All Wernick Hire buildings are also available for purchase. Contact Wernick Hire for more information about their range of accommodation and storage units suitable for the construction industry.
