The redevelopment involved a makeover to the pub’s bedrooms. It features the “bedroom blueprint” for accommodation at the group’s pubs for the future.
While 10 of the pub’s 12 rooms have been given a minor makeover, two have been given a country hotel style by interior designer Emily Davies. It features heavy drapes, roll top baths and modern aesthetical touches such as contemporary mirrors.
Brakspear is currently awaiting planning permission to refurbish six further rooms at The White Hart. If granted, the rooms will be completed by end of 2011.
The White Hart is the third Brakspear pub operated by Ted Docherty and Dion Korving. Brakspear currently has 28 pubs with rooms.
