The 12 month refurbishment program would ensure that every ward in the hospital undergoes a facelift.
Richard Sunley, the chief executive, explained that there had been many calls upon the Trust to refurbish the wards at Bridlington, including members of the Overview and Scrutiny Committees (OSCs). Some wards had not been decorated for more than 20 years and this he said was clearly unacceptable. This refurbishment program will ensure that the patients continue to receive high quality healthcare, he added.
