The project involves development of a 4,000 square metre scheme, which will be developed on a brownfield site at Milkwood Road, near Herne Hill station, in south London. The scheme will provide 42 residential units which includes six townhouses and 36 apartments.
The entire development will be split into two sections, which will be interlinked, creating a unified entity. The development will respect and enhance the surrounding area. The project will also mimic the size and patterns of its neighbourhood.
In sync with its surroundings, the scheme will feature bay windows with brick and render. The entrances of the ground floor units will communicate with the street. All the homes will have either a private terrace or garden. Additional amenities for the residents will consist of a children’s play area at the southern apex of the site; and a communal roof terrace which will provide additional amenity space for the residents.
