The project has been developed by Thompson | Dorfman Partners with KTGY as the project architect, while Kwan Henmi is the concept design architect.
Featuring an environment-friendly design, 555YVR is a transit-oriented development, with each unit spread across an area of 763 square feet to 1,308 square feet, which includes 87 spacious one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom homes, townhomes and live-work units. All residential units feature separate front and back entrances.
The development features luxury finishes and is integrated with stainless steel appliances and floor-to-ceiling windows. Private decks and patios are also provided in some of the homes. The residences are spread across four stories and feature a Sky Lounge, a rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace.
The development also features a media room, private fitness center, a courtyard with water facility, bench seating, and on site protected dog run. Common places are integrated with WiFi connectivity. Ample party space is provided in a gated, 170-capacity subterranean garage.
The homes have been integrated with hardwood floors. CaesarStone counter tops and stainless steel appliances from Bosch and Thermador feature in the kitchen, while the bathrooms feature taupe, bronze and ivory, Kohler Ladena sinks with polished chrome Kohler faucets, Italian tile floors, and TOTO dual flush toilets. The homes are integrated with a walk-in closet provided for the master suite.
The development also includes green features like energy efficient lighting, passive solar heating, and water efficient landscaping. It has been provided with a roof deck intended to reduce heat island, and human and wildlife habitat has been created to minimize the impact on the microclimate.
Bicycle storage and bike racks are also provided. Other amenities include, low-flow, water-efficient showerheads, lavatory sinks and kitchen faucets; low-VOC construction adhesives for all interior adhesives; environment-friendly interior trim and shelving; low-emitting paints which meet the highest air quality standards; and light pollution reduction to improve nighttime visibility, night sky access, while reducing impact on nocturnal environments.
Available in a variety of floor plans, the houses are available at $300,000 to mid-$700,000.
