The company plans to invest $1.4 million and create 128 jobs during the next three years. The announcement was made possible in part by a $250,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
The new Taylorsville plant will assemble furniture products to serve that growing market. The new jobs will pay an average annual wage of $30,142, not including benefits, which is higher than Alexander County’s average annual wage of $27,300.

Caye Home Furnishings LLC, headquartered in Mississippi, manufactures living room furniture and case goods including products marketed under the Stratford and Stratolounger name brands. The company has five manufacturing facilities in Mississippi, Florida, two in China and one in Star, North Carolina, which opened in August 2008 and employs 52 workers.
