Located at 1728 Coral Way, the nine-story luxury office building spread over 24,000 square feet features latest technology while incorporating environmentally responsible design. Combining exemplary performance in energy management, indoor environmental quality, water efficiency and the use of eco-friendly materials, CIMA Corporate Center incorporates a variety of smart design and sustainable strategies.
An innovative passive and active solar design strategy which generates up to 25% of the building’s energy needs has been incorporated. An integrated energy management system will lead to significant reduction in operational cost
The building also features occupancy and O2 sensors in all office areas, light sensitive automated window shades, minimal water demand plumbing fixtures and recycled composite cement flooring. The north-facing building takes advantage of the tree canopy on Coral Way to reduced solar exposure.
Expected to reach completion by the end of 2009, the project is currently pursuing a LEED-Gold New Construction pre-certification from the US Green Building Council.
