The new structure is named the Zun tower as it is shaped after a traditional Chinese wine vessel. Upon completion, it is slated to be the tallest skyscraper in the capital at a height of 1,650 feet. The building will incorporate the shape of a vase and will serve both as an office as well as a tourist landmark.
The tower will be slender in shape and will be made of glass and steel. It will house an observation platform on its roof along with a central atrium in its top portion. It will also feature a cafe which will allow panoramic glimpses of the surrounding area. In addition, the Zun tower will employ various applications to reduce its energy consumption.
