ClearLite is introducing its new bulb “ArmorLite, A Safer CFL”, which is said to contain no liquid mercury. It uses amalgam, an alloy of mercury with other metals in a solid form. For enhanced safety of the bulbs, ClearLite’s ArmorLite also contains a Safety ECO coating, which helps provide an added barrier from the harmful toxins.
In addition to the “ArmorLite, A Safer CFL”, ClearLite will exhibit several of the company’s new full-spectrum reading lamps. They claim to provide a brighter, longer-lasting and more natural light than other bulbs available on the market. These bulbs are also Energy Star Qualified and made to RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) standards.
The International Home & Housewares Show will also mark the launch of ClearLite’s newest product line, True Reflections Hi-REZ Cosmetic Mirror. True Reflections is claimed to be the first Hi-Rez cosmetics mirror in the industry with OPTICOLOR Technology that is designed to help consumers see a brighter and more natural reflection. It offers three distinct settings for various levels of light sources.
