Accommodating the brand’s wide repertoire of products, the design of the building features a façade of 210 stacked, floor-to-ceiling translucent display boxes in a herringbone pattern of vertical and horizontal orientation. Each of the 210 units that make up the outer envelope measures 180 cm by 52 cm, the size needed to hold any of the products.

In addition to that a floating tower of 105 illuminated acrylic units has also been included in the design to encase the store’s central stair, drawing pedestrians to the upper level. Created independent from the walls, the staircase connects the women’s first floor to the men’s second floor.

The clear shelving is arranged in a herringbone pattern and makes up the exterior envelope of the store. It allows a range of products to be shown virtually anywhere as well as uses the company’s brand as the characteristic facade element. Viewed from the interior, the display units seamlessly provide an active backdrop for merchandise.
