Conix Architects has attempted to structure the complex site in such a way that it can promote a new corporate identity. Reconversion has also been considered in an attempt to integrate the building better into its surroundings. The proposal is currently in the concept design stage.
Multiple spatial changes made by the design team includes adding a compact tower building with offices, screens, green areas, billboards, signage and route descriptions; and the renovation of a number of important industrial buildings.
The new office building features a main axis which runs through the entire site, which also offers a place to stop. Creation of an entry area was made possible by narrowing and shaping the street profile. The office building presents a stand-out design in contrast to the repetitive and randomly selected surroundings.
