Formerly known as the Summit Medical Building or One Deforest Avenue, the 65,000-square-foot building was purchased by a partnership led by Yeager in April 2011. The building was completely redeveloped to transform it into a premium office space.
The property’s redevelopment consisted of the renovation and redesign of an existing four-storey, 40,000-square-foot office building along with the construction of a 25,000-square-foot addition. Summit Executive Center also offers a two-level, 200-car parking structure which is more than 50% covered. The structure also offers direct access to the office building via access from both levels of the parking deck.
Summit Executive Center features open, flexible floor plates that can be easily subdivided to fit a variety of tenant space needs, ranging from 3,500 – 12,500 square feet. The facility enables infiltration of natural light with a high ratio of windowed office space. Highly efficient and state-of-the-art mechanical systems have been employed with an energy management system.
Additional features include nine inches finished ceiling heights, two hydraulic passenger elevators, with one doubling as a freight elevator and a secured building environment with 24/7 electronic access. Summit Executive Center is located in a central downtown location, and is in close proximity to various transportation modes. The facility has been LEED-certified.
