The first phase of the Cardiff Bay project includes a twin-pad ice arena, to be built according to Olympic standards; and Cardiff Pointe, a sustainable residential quarter consisting of around 800 new homes.
Future stages will include a 150m indoor ski-slope, one of the world’s largest indoor snow play centres, a mixed-use tower that will be the tallest in Wales, gallery space, a hotel, retail outlets, housing, and office accommodation.
Upon completion, the state-of-the-art facilities will include two ice rinks which will provide a new home for the Cardiff Devils and offer people a range of winter sports.
