Located on Highway 231 just nine miles northeast of Montgomery, the Wind Creek Wetumpka will be co-located with Creek Casino. Wetumpka’s Creek Casino is being converted into a new resort for the tourists from around the country to the picturesque river town outside of Montgomery.
Designed by Hnedak Bobo Group, the design of the new resorts draws inspiration from cultural landscape of the region. The architecture is a blend of modernistic details and interpretive references of land, water, air and fire.
The resort will include a 20-storey hotel tower that will accommodate 285 rooms and suites, a 90,000 square feet gaming floor with 2,500 electronic gaming machines, a resort pool, and entertainment rooms. The gastronomic options at the new Wind Creek Wetumpka will consist of a grill, a coffee shop, a snack bar, a fine dining restaurant, and a buffet.
Construction on the development is being undertaken by Flintco Construction and the resort is scheduled to open in May 2012.
