Considered as the heart of the hospital, the new 95,000 square foot expansion features the diagnostic imaging department, emergency room and day surgery.
Adding to that the west wing also features six new state-of-the-art operating theatres, which are twice the size as the old ones.
The West wing opened its doors to the patients on 5 March 2013. With the completion of the new wing, redevelopment of the old spaces begins and is expected to complete by the summer of 2014.
