Work involved remodelling of the facility’s lobby area which now sports a new facade. The refurbished lobby features new welcome pedestals to boost better communication with the guests and the hotel staff. The lobby has further been equipped with the GoBoard application which features a LCD touch screen measuring 55 inches to provide information on local topics. There are media pods consisting of personal TVs and electrical outlets along with a computer-fitted business library. Another new feature of the remodelled lobby is The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.
The hotel has upgraded a pair of meeting rooms as part of the project which together spans over an area of 1,250 square feet. The redesigned meeting rooms have been adorned with new wallpaper, carpeting, drapery, a dry erase board made of glass, pull-down audio/visual screen as well as new chairs.
The fitness centre has also received a facelift and has now been equipped with new flooring, wallpaper, mirrors, and a television. The outside space of the improved facility has incorporated a new patio, new landscaping, a new barbeque pit section, and a host of new furniture pieces such as tables, chairs, umbrellas, sofas and end tables. In addition, the entire renovated hotel including its outside area now offers wireless internet service. q
