The redesigned spaces were unveiled on 20 October 2010, giving guests a first glimpse at the hotel’s Courtyard Refreshing Business conversion. An estimated $1 million renovation has completely redesigned lobby space and added a new restaurant, ‘The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.’, featuring Starbucks coffee. The new restaurant is designed to offer a casual environment featuring comfortable indoor and outdoor seating.
The expanded lobby space features a brand new full-service bar. The more spacious and open redesigned lobby space is distinct for bright contrasting colours. A separate welcome pedestal has been created replacing the traditional front desk. This helps in creating more personal interactions at check-in.
The lobby area is furnished with a variety of flexible seating options. A new outdoor experience has been added, featuring a fire pit and comfortable outdoor lounging environment.
Another notable addition to the lobby is the exclusive GoBoard technology. This 52-inch high-definition LCD allows guests to navigate the touch screen to find directions and information about restaurants and area attractions located near this Downtown Chattanooga hotel.
