The 17,000 ft2 Centre includes eight state-of-the-art inpatient rooms, a dedicated infusion suite, and apheresis and stem cell collection unit.

The new unit combines aesthetic design with advanced technologies. It has been built to address every important need and concern that arises during patients’ stays.

The CCTA Centre will provide stem cell transplantation therapies and other treatments for patients with hematologic malignancies like acute and chronic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas and multiple myeloma.

In addition to the new stem cell unit, the CTCA in Philadelphia also includes seven operating rooms and a new pharmacy which is currently under construction.

The CTCA is a national network of hospitals in the US that focuses on complex and advanced stage cancer. It serves patients from all 50 states at facilities located in Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tulsa.

Future schemes of the CTCA include additions to the laboratory, chemotherapy infusion unit, and clinic, which will be completed in the later part of 2013.
