The center has more than 65 showrooms offering custom furniture, fabric, floor covering, cabinetry, lighting and accessories. And because most of the product is customized for each client, the center’s showrooms only sell directly to interior designers, architects, contractors and specifiers.
However, the all-day Eye on Design event will be open to the public. Visitors can browse 55 showrooms and meet face-to-face with high-end interior designers. There will be a panel of interior design experts hosting a discussion and will also be available to answer questions, including Mr Yip.
Now is the perfect time to get environmentally-inspired design ideas to welcome spring, learn essential home décor editing tips to create a fresh, new look, and get answers to challenging home décor questions from the experts – including Vern Yip, said Craig Cross, SDC marketing manager.
Besides showing what’s new in luxury home furnishings, visitors can learn how to use the design center and meet interior designers.
We look forward to welcoming 600 guests to benefit from the panel discussion, the visual inspiration, and the connections with talented designers who can bring their home visions to life, he said.
Entrance is $10 and the event runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Los Angeles Designer Kenneth Brown was Eye on Design 2008’s featured guest.
