The new facility will enhance the clinic’s existing capacity by 50%. It will span 20,000 square feet, increasing from its present size of 16,000 square feet. The centre will feature a retinal and podiatry clinic whose capacity will also be raised by twice the current clinic’s capacity.
The new centre will house a new paediatric endocrine clinic for children under 18 years. The endocrine clinic will feature a kid’s unit consisting of a play space and games for children. There will also be an increase in office space in the new building. Other features of the new facility include a day care treatment room, a lab, an in-house pharmacy, a gym, private room for nursing mothers, a demonstration kitchen, as well as a prayer room.
