Fabrizio Pisciotta, Aicon’s sales director, states that the company has participated in the boat show is to “help enhance the brand’s position in high sales potential areas such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain and Qatar”, which have high levels of marinas construction. The company also wants to consolidate the success attained in Dubai through the show.
Moored at the Water Stand 73, the European-styled fast motor yachts feature contemporary style and fluid external lines. The boat design assures optimal utilization of area, ensuring continuity between the interiors and exteriors and increasing the functionality of the area.
The Aicon 56 Fly Bridge, 56ft in length features 66,900lbs drying weight, 28 knots cruising speed, 30 knots maximum speed, 740 gallon fuel tank, 800 horsepower engine, 15 feet 9 inches beam, 4 feet 8 inches max draft and fiberglass hull material.
Available in linear and classic versions, the interiors of the boat includes fabric covered walls and ceiling, six seater dinette sofa, sideway windows with curtains, stainless steel, wooden and glass dinette table, starboard side five seats sofa, master stateroom, master bathroom, VIP bathroom, guest cabin and guest bathroom.
The exteriors include mooring tools, radar arch, GPS Antenna, navigation lights, pneumatic horn, stern locker, safety system and stern cockpit.
Aicon 64 Sport Flybridge features 1,224 horsepower engine, 25 knots cruising speed, 31 knots maximum speed, 4 feet 9 inches max draft, and 17 feet 4 inches beam. Accommodations include three state rooms, two crew quarters, VIP forward with private bath, walk in master closet, full beam master mid ship with opening windows and twin beds with over six feet head room in an expansive third stateroom.
The 17th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show is being held at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahl, from 3-7 March 2009. The show is a global marine industry exhibition that displays boats, marine equipment and supplies to trade buyers and affluent private consumers.
