For the new school, a slightly modified version of the existing Fort Dorchester Elementary School design will be used. Fort Dorchester Elementary was designed by the South Carolina-based architectural firm LS3P Associates, who will also work on the design modifications.

The $15 million new school in the Oakbrook area in North Carolina will get an improved design to suit its location. The new facility will be built to handle increasing number of students. The officials have chosen the design, based on the overall appearance, lay out and the pick-up and drop-off locations, which keep traffic moving smoothly.

The building’s interior walls can be removed when the need arises. The choice of color and building material on the front of the structure complements other buildings in the neighborhood.
