Scope of the renovation involve redesigning of the 160 guestrooms, which now feature new carpeting, window treatments, furniture and bedding in muted shades of blue, beige and brown. The guestrooms boast bright décor and are complete with spacious work desks with ergonomic chairs; 42-inch, high-definition, LCD TVs; and MP3-compatible alarm clocks. The ensuite bathrooms have also witnessed a major revamp.
The function space, including a new 2,400 square feet meeting room, has received new carpets with bold patterns as well as new lighting and window treatments. The hotel also offers 11,000 square feet of meeting space, which can accommodate up to 450 guests theatre-style or 300 banquet guests for business and social events, Vyne restaurant and Ivy Room restaurant.
The lobby of the hotel has been upgraded with modern and chic furnishings, a fireplace, business centre and new lobby lounge. The project has added an outdoor pool, along with an outdoor fire pit and seating area, in the landscaped courtyard of the hotel. The hotel also has a 10,000 square feet fitness centre and outdoor and indoor swimming pools.
DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod-Hyannis is located near Boston’s Logan International Airport, Providence’s TF Green Airport, Barnstable Municipal Airport and the Hyannis Transportation Center and has recently undergone an extensive renovation scheme and has been re-branded as DoubleTree by Hilton brand.
