DuraStreet, which fits into all existing street lighting fixtures, including cobra heads, shoe boxes, and other area and site lighting fixtures, uses Cree LEDs, custom-designed Fraen optics and proprietary electronic power supplies.
DuraStreet is simple to install and enables customers to replace their current roadway lighting sources without generating the waste associated with replacing entire street lighting fixtures. Offering unparalleled energy efficiency, DuraStreet provides light output equivalent to existing high intensity discharge (HID) lighting fixtures while consuming less than half the energy.
Available immediately to replace 70W, 100W and 150/175W HID lighting systems, DuraStreet comes with a five year warranty. EcoFit plans to launch a 250W HID replacement is expected in October, 2009.
