Design Beam 1200C CMY moving head can be used as a spot, wash or long throw beam projector. It is housed in a compact case more typical of a 575W fixture and hence can be installed in tight spaces. It is portable during tours and traveling productions, the company says.
The Design Beam has been developed to be a complete 1200W DMX moving head that meets modern day’s demands of lighting market, says Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional. The multi functional product is considered great for rental market, he adds.
The product is loaded with cutting-edge features like wireless DMX, along with lots of effects and colors. The Design Beam is powered by Philips MSR1200 7,500k discharge lamp to ensure extreme light output, shooting out 107,500 lux at 25 feet, and produces a very tight 6.7 degrees beam angle.
The variable frost feature allows the unit to function as either a spot or wash. CMY color mixing system with variable CTO color correction enables the unit to produce a rainbow of colors with 16-bit movement and color fading. Another characteristic features is the eight static replaceable dichroic colors, including CTB and UV.
