Reinstating the historic 1895-built building at the heart of the ground, the renovated Pavilion provides new facilities for members and new club offices. The design has removed post-war extensions, which cluttered the old building, and intertwined a new steel-framed red brick and glass extension with the original distinctive red brick and sandstone facade and iconic turrets.
Striking a balance between creating a state-of-the-art sporting venue and emotional attachment for the ‘old’ Pavilion, the new Pavilion has been restored as the physical and symbolic centrepiece of the new ground.
The previously completed phases include The Point event venue and a new Player and Media Centre.
