The three-year renovation project is worth $33.7 million. The structural work on the structural expansion of the building’s northeast and northwest corners is progressing on schedule. The new main entrances at both corners are expected to be operational by late 2010, with the facility being reopened for the 2010-11 Western Hockey League season.
Demolition of the existing lobby area and ticket office will take place in mid-2010. A trailer outside the building will house the ticket office until the new office is completed.
