The new Meeting of Cultures Center will be a five-storey building, which will consist of two sub cellar levels and three above ground levels. The building will also accommodate a multi-functional room for 1,200 spectators.
The new centre will be built at the site of an existing, unfinished building, which will be partly demolished to accommodate the new development. The project also involves renovation of an adjacent building, which will house the Musical Theatre and the Henryk Wieniawski Lublin Philharmonic, and construction of a new 5,000 square metre plaza and an underground car park.
The project is scheduled for a wrap-up in 2015, and is valued at about €40 million ($52 million).
