Schmidt/Bickle Indoor Training Facility will be located in the southeast corner of the FHSU campus, between Lewis Field Stadium and Big Creek. It will span 50,400 square feet and will offer several facilities for the athletes.
The facility will have a four-lane synthetic track, a 65-yards long artificial-cover surface, which will be used for a variety of sports, and meeting and entertainment rooms. It will also be equipped with weights and cardio equipment.
The total cost of the Schmidt/Bickle Indoor Training Facility is likely to reach $4.2 million, which will include the cost of weight training equipment, and furnishings. Construction of the facility is being undertaken by US-based Compton Construction Corporation.
