Google is well known for creating some of the world’s most distinctive and well-designed offices, which often mix fun and games with serious working practices.
One of its latest offices, in Madrid, was designed by UK-based design practice Jump Studios and feature, among other things a central core incorporating a series of timber arches, whose design is a reference to ‘the spatial and material qualities of traditional Spanish architecture’.
The office also features fun details such as a games room with its own ping pong table.
The project involved the fit out of two floors in one of Madrid’s most prestigious high-rise buildings, Torre Picasso.
Jump Studios recently opened a satellite office in Lisbon, which took the lead in this project.
