The yarn used in Tessera Weave is made from Aquafil Econyl polyamide, which consists of 100% recycled materials, taken from both industrial and post consumer waste streams. Abandoned fishing nets were used to make Econyl polyamide. The Tessera Weave is available in 19 colours, which can be used in broadloom, tessellated or quarter turn installation.

The design features a subtle linear grain that is enhanced by the use of contrasting twists of yarn, which creates a richly woven appearance in a low pile weight. This quality is achieved through the use of modern spinning techniques that twist the yarn multi-directionally, as well as careful mixing of tonal highlights to add greater depth. It can be used in high traffic applications.

Tessera Weave can be matched with other tile formats, such as Marmoleum, Flotex and luxury vinyl tiles, as well as other options from across Forbo’s textile collections, to create fully integrated flooring designs.
