Celonis partnered with Gensler to transform its Munich office into an immersive, convivial space that embodies its values and identity.
Gensler embraced the bones of the building, and celebrated its existing structures, while forming intentional connections to bring Celonis’ people together. The practice was brought in at an exciting time to redesign its office spaces in Munich following a previous collaboration for its New York Headquarters.
The whole design process was focused on meeting LEED gold standards from the outset, through the careful selection of materials, and reuse of existing structures. Building on our previous experience with Celonis, Gensler developed a consistent design narrative across the offices by ensuring similarities in brand implementation while maintaining each office’s individual and local character.
The judges said: ‘The existing warehouse space is enriched with the design interventions. Creating a sequence of spaces that uses colour and art to lift the design from the ordinary. Bringing touches of hospitality and richness to the interiors.’ You can enter this year’s awards to get the recognition your product and service deserves today at: fxdesignawards.co.uk/2025/en/page/how-to-enter.
